Momentum Change in Velocity

This calculation determines the change in momentum when the velocity changes but the mass remains constant. 

 

\(\large{ p = m \left( v_i - v_f \right) }\)

Where:

\(\large{ p }\) = momentum

\(\large{ m }\) = mass

\(\large{ v_f }\) = final velocity

\(\large{ v_i }\) = initial velocity
